And it’s all political.
The public is steadily changing their minds about which political party is responsible for the recession with just 38% of the public now blaming Republicans down from 53% in May of 2009.
27% now blame the Democrats, up 6% since May and 27% say both parties are to blame.
36% believe that the policies set out by President Obama have helped while 28% say it has made things worse. 35% say it has had no effect.
