Salvation Army Now Taking Credit Cards

by Karen on December 12, 2009

No Change?…..No problem!
Coming to a city near you….. the traditional red kettles and bell ringers of the Salvation Army will soon be able to take your credit card in addition to the typical cash donation.

When they tried it out in a couple of cities the average donation rose from about $2.00 to $15.00 so they are hoping to be able to increase their donations.

As a consumer, though, you need to consider if you really want to pay go into debt and pay interest in order to donate.
