FICO Credit Scores

by Karen on August 6, 2010

More than 90% of all banks and lenders use credit scores from one source, FICO. FICO is a synonym for the Fair Isaac Corporation, which has a proprietary method for establishing credit scores.

You can get online access to your credit score at myFICO.com for $15.95.

Or you can get your credit score for free if you get denied credit, thanks to the CARD act.
