Now you can take someone’s credit card for payment right from your very own smart phone. It’s even a free app. Now it’s hip to be “Square”.
Even ordinary people can accept credit cards. Having a yard sale? You too can accept credit cards. Selling your leather sofa and you don’t want to take a check and the buyer has no cash? Just swipe their card on your smartphone, either iPhone/iPod/iPad or Google Android, have them sign the screen with their fingertip and you’ve been paid.
The buyer will also receive a digital receipt via e-mail or SMS.
